My connection with sakura originates from their association with my hometown, Dalian. Dalian, once a small fishing village, is a youthful city deeply influenced by Russian and Japanese colonial cultures. There's an ancient saying that goes, "The fragrance of cherry blossoms comes from the bitter cold." Despite enduring hardships, Dalian remains steadfast in its beliefs, courageously embracing every challenge. This resilience has had a profound impact on my own life, serving as a valuable source of inspiration.
